They really do listen....

At dinner tonight I was in the kitchen and the kids were eating at the table. They were arguing over something and Derrick tells Danae, "That's not fair!" Danae looks up at him and says, "Life isn't fair Brother!" I about died! We are always telling the kids life isn't fair when they don't get their way or something and I never thought they were even listening....sure enough they really are. It was a priceless moment that will always remain with me!

Not much else, Leroy starts physical therapy tomorrow because the insurance wants to "exhaust all options before surgery". I understand, however they haven't been dealing with this for 2 1/2 years.

The postal service is making all employees panic with tons of different rumors flying. The way I see it, we've already sacrificed and gave up so much for this job, what else can they scare us with? Job loss? I'll just join everyone else. A move? Been there and done that. It's funny that some employees think the drop in mail volume will not affect them...boy are they wrong!

The sad news of the day....Leroy's youngest, Leeanne is moving to Washington D.C. She says there's more job opportunities there which is awesome, but 3,000 miles is a long way away, I'm gonna need to stock up on stamps and send out more cards! We are hopefully going to be able to see her before she leaves. Scratch that, we WILL see her before she leaves. I'll have my camera set and new batteries in to snap a zillion and one pics of the kids and their big sis before she goes!

Ughhhh!!!!

Doctor called, no neurosurgeon....insurance is making Leroy go to physical therapy now! Let's just say we are VERY skeptical of physical therapy. Must rest before I throw something at the insurance company!
